Finally got out and met Tom and ran our boats a bit. I was always certain to maintain a safe distance so as not to be smoked too badly. Tom's boat is absolutely better than new!
Great to finally meet you. We'll have to go back out to get some better running shots. None came out at all that showed your boats attitude at speed.
Thanks to One Sick Pantera, Pat McPherson and Tmone I bought the right prop. Merc Revolution 4 25P. Got the rpms up to about 4800 wot and probably just over 70. I think the speedo showed 75 a couple of times. Night and day difference in all regards. Like a different boat compared to a 26 B1. I have a few things to try and tweak out 200 - 300 more rpms.
I was so excited to get out I did not get gas. Had a half a tank to start the day, used almost all and pushed it for the photo run leaving with it just above empty. Empty is empty I learned. If anyone is interested, I have a Mirage Plus 25 and and Bravo 1 26 that Tom has first shot at.

Sounds like a good deal. I look forward to it. Was out today for a couple hours in the main channel. No large wakes but 55to 60 in the chop at 3800 to 4000. Hard to believe how this boat handles for its size.

One of the best handling boats ever made!!! Both the 24 and the 28!

After this weekend, that gave me a good laugh! We had to stop off 2/3 of the way through the poker run to top off (took almost 100 gallons!)... I'm just trying to decide wether I want to add a belly tank in the cabin or saddle bag tanks in the engine room! Funny how 65 miles at 5,300 rpms will go through fuel! :D

For that reason - I don't think I've ever finished a poker run.
