Anyone know this Boat

Saw this 24 for sale on one of the postings. Anyone know its history and condition. Is an SE worth more than a sport. Any idea if the price is in line.

Don't know the boat, but I have a 95' SE and can tell you the cabin area/cabin entry is more user friendly. It has a door with step down entry compared to the straight dash on the Sport. Not really sure if the SE is worth more or not but for the money it seems like a really good deal.

I think its all preference as far as which one is worth more. The sport has a longer deck and shorter cockpit. What is the price?

The owner advised me the boat has been sold.

1. the sport has a longer deck, the SE has a longer dash.
Cockpits are same size.

2. If the boat is sold, the price was right.

The dash is longer but Jo also told me the driver/passenger is slightly fore in the SE when compared to the Sport which would mean the cockpit is slightly larger as well.

osp, i really couldn't tell you, but if you and Jeff would measure from the base of the rear bench to the main bulkhead at cabin entrance, that would resolve that.

And if you mean the foward bolsters are moved fore a bit, then there would be more rearseat legroom, cockpit would be the same size. just getting technical... bored. :D

Good point and that very well could be the case. I'll measure mine when I get her out of storage.

From the pics I've seen of the sport, it looks like the windshield is closer to the dash. My SE is pretty long from the steering wheel to the plexi windshield, which allows for the hatch into the cabin. I don't think the cockpit is any bigger in the SE. The backseat in mine has just enough room for me to sit down and not hit my knees on the front bolsters.:cool-smiley-026:

I have a sport, and it measures "too small". I like it just the way it is. Keeps the riff-raff out!
