I'm just thinking about my engine compartment (seeing as that's where I've been spending a lot of time lately - motors out and I'm cleaning it up and re-rigging).
Gotta figure: Beam - 6'6" to 7' Length - 4' to 4'6" Depth at keel - max 4' I'm thinking max 126 CF - and that isn't taking into consideration for the 24 degree deadrise. I think your 100 CF is probably about dead-on. Mind you, this is just a quick calculation off memory and approximation, but I think you'd be pretty good with the 100. LOL...glad I wasn't the only one "thinking" about the dimensions. I used 6' wide, 4.5' long and 3.5' deep for 94.5 cubic feet. |

And I notice our estimations are pretty damn close to one another:ernaehrung004:

Was thinking about one for mine also especially after Memorial Day weekend. We were out on that Saturday and passed a smaller bowrider style boat that was stopped and had smoke coming out of the engine compartment. Pretty sure it wasn't a fire but just an overheated engine, however it makes you think about it.
Hey Nicolasticity can you post some pics of your 24? It looks very similar to mine. ;) http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n.../Pantera-3.jpg |
