I had considered selling my 28 and buying one of the newer 28's that are available now but I have decided ( along with my 2 boys and wife) to keep this boat. It is a great boat and does everything I want and will be even better when I add a little more power. Thanks for the interest and positive comments. Chris

2004 28' Pantera with a 496HO - 425hp.
It is completely turn key.
It runs 60 to 62 mph on GPS in any water.
Thats with a full load of fuel and 2 to 4 people.
This boat rides very smooth and handles great
no matter how rough the water is.


This boat is the size of some 32'-33' twin
engine boats and handles like a bigger boat
but it's got the economy of a $ingle engine.


The hull only has around 260 hours on it.
The old motor blew up with 112 hours on it.
Mercury replaced the blown motor with a brand
new one on 6-17-2005. The new motor has
approximately 148 hours on it.
