Nice!
I've been looking around and have noticed that you see a lot of older Panteras that are holding up nicely. Like I've found many 80's vintage boats that not only look nice but they look like they have not been restored etc... Maybe it's me?? Later, pp. |
well?

They were built right to start with and the people that own them take pride in their in boats and take care of them. |

Jo & Pepe
Boat looks great Congrats |
Awesome!!!!!!!!
|
Are the l.e.d. lights standard!!!:)
|
I like this boat a lot. I can't tell but is there a ladder? The swim step looks high.. Or it's maybe geared more towards asthetics and not meant as a means to come out of the water??

Jo, the boat looks awesome. Very nice job. |
Great looking boat Jo! I bet those L.E.d's kick ass at night. My platforms high as well- I like it that way...just step on the drive and up you go. It always gives me the feeling of "ocean worthiness" with a high transom. No dig of other boats, but those that have the swim platform that almost dip in the water, don't seem well suited for stopping in the middle of the Gulf Stream for a swim!
Can't wait for the performance numbers. Do you have anything on board giving you fuel info? |

That new 28 is sweet, one good looking boat
|
Put some neon green underwater lights on that bad boy and that would be really sweet at night.
|
Mike,
Hull sides are 2 1/2 inches lower at the transom due to the T.S. bottom. Has a real nice stance in the water.Lower CG !! Dale, We could do it behind each step.:p Going to test in the morning out in the Ocean then the boat is heading North to Ducky's Boats our dealer in PA.I will post cockpit pics. and video soon. JO |
Sharp looking boat!
|
Well how fast is it???
:evilb: |
How much?

Had it up to 78 MPH today in dead flat water at only 4950 RPM spinning a semi labbed 27 P5 Hydromotive prop.To much transom lift out of the P5.Should see 79-80 consistent once dialed at 5300 RPM with a great rough water setup.
Next prop is a really worked labbed 26' P5X Hydro or a worked Maximus 5 blade. With the aggressive drive height I went with the boat likes the 5 blade over the 4 blade unless I spaced down the drive by a 1/2 inch and went with a 4 blade. The 5 blade has better cruise speeds and handles better in rough water with this set up. Cranked the wheel hard today in smooth water at high speeds and the T.S. bottom handled perfect. Boat left tonight with Tom jr. from Ducky's boats and should be in PA. tomorrow. Retail price on this new 2009 28 SR is $ 159,000 including the custom paint and recessed hull side option. We will also have a base price in the coming days with a 496 HO - 425 HP and no recessed hull sides option. I had a photographer take pics. today with a model and should have pictures by Friday. I will post them in a few days. Here are a few that I took ! Happy Thanksgiving, JO |

Where are you guys getting the 28" and 36" remote control Pantera boats:D:D
I don't think there were even any twin 28' 525EFI Panteras built. There's a few twin 500 boats out there. |
