I drive my 28' back and forth from Fl to the Bahamas and it's a dry boat- great riding and solid as a rock. Used to do the same thing in a 24' Superboat and at times the boat felt to small to be out there. The 28' is a much larger feeling boat. Not that you won't get spray in this boat, but it's much better than the performance of the size down.

Jo, are those stainless LED's ?? Can't wait to see and hear the test drive results... definitely a boat you guys should be proud of- hull looks very unique... kind of like an on water muscle car.

That's cool. Thanks. Maybe I'll bump heads with an owner sometime and get a ride.

Hello SDFever,

I am going to post the "retail price" on our new Pantera 28' next week after everyone has had a chance to see it on video and pictures.I want everyone to see the new changes and the performance. We just finished installing the pop up indicators on the new dash over the upholstered carbon fiber vinyl panels and it turned out awesome.

Austin,

Good to hear from you. The plate was fabricated from 1/4 inch Stainless Steel and high polished. The LED lights are designed to be used in or out of water and come in Green, cool white, red, blue, and new flame red. May need another vacation in Abaco in the coming months.:drink:

We are trying to sea trial it this weekend.Keep everyone updated in a few days.

Had a busy afternoon at the factory and could not make it out to the water but will run the new 28 SR tomorrow Saturday. Boat looks amazing !!!!! We have put 35 years of boat building experience all into this new 28' SR. The LED lights and recessed hull sides give the boat an aggressive exotic sports car look like nothing ever seen before in the marine industry.Pictures do not do it justice.

Here is a picture I took of the cabin this past week before the final details were completed. This cabin took much more work than other 28s due to it being finished in "carbon" vinyls which is a 2 step process instead of just the standard smooth white vinyl which comes standard with 1/2 inch foam padding all in 1 step. We did the deck and hull sides in silver, bulkheads with charcoal gray, and orange on the light panels. Carpet over the V-berth and wrap around we went with a charcoal gray color.Simple and very clean looking matching the outside colors !!! I will post better cabin pics. in the next day or two.

Have a 5 blade Maximus prop, and ( 2 ) 4 blade Bravo 1 props to test tomorrow. Drive height is higher with new T.S. bottom plus lower center of gravity and fuel capacity.

Nice!

I've been looking around and have noticed that you see a lot of older Panteras that are holding up nicely. Like I've found many 80's vintage boats that not only look nice but they look like they have not been restored etc... Maybe it's me??

So now this thread sits on my computer all day to see the results!!!!!!!!!

AWESOME!!
