suggestions on sale
 

I own a 1999 28' Pantera with twin 502's. The boat was formerly owned by Dale Castle in Ohio. Without going into great detail, my son receiving a scholarship to play colloge baseball along with a changing work schedule has greatly limited my use of the boat. For these reasons i'm thinking of selling the boat. My question to you guys is do you think i should wait until spring to post the boat or begin the process now. For the record, i joined this sight three years ago when i bought the boat and you guys were awsome whenever i sought advice about the boat. Jo himself even offered advice. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What's up Dale. The boat has been awsome. I went from a Bayliner, to a Baja, to the Pantera and there's not much comparison. I would list the boat at $45,000.

Dale, I took these pics yesterday. The only change to the boat was the lettering. I removed "UNCIVILIZED" from the sides.

Yes I traded it in to them in 04 I think it took them over a year to sell it. I know they started out at $82000 and the last I heard when I talked to them a couple years ago they had it at 49 or 59000 dont remember which one exactly. Never did hear what it sold for though.

What a mistake I made getting rid of that for a cruiser, I have regretted that for a long time. I am stuck with this Formula now, I guess it isnt bad being stuck with it, but seriously anyone know of somebody looking for a cruiser in excellent condition? Joe you interested in a 2004 Formula 31PC maybe some kind of trade? How many hours have you put on the Pantera and does it still run good? Is it now a saltwater boat?

That is my favorite paint on a 28 Pantera, oh yea it used to be mine so I guess I am biased.LOL

Sorry about the trade but i don't have much use for an even bigger boat. The motors have 253 hours and yes it's a saltwater boat, primarily used in the Eastern and Chesapeake Bays in Maryland.

Joe know of anyone looking for a cruiser?

Seems about right and inline with other's I've seen listed recently. Not really any info to go on though. Engine hours? HP?

Glad to hear that you have a son playing Baseball. I played proffesional for 8 years in the Montreal Expos organization from 1983 to 1991. I had a great experience, made the 40 man roster twice. Good luck to your son, hope he reaches his goals.
