OK, just saw the boat, it is currently in S. Florida.
Hull, engines, & drives are in great shape. The cockpit interior is in good shape, could use a reskin, but not necessary. Fresh water boat. Got some pics and will load them hopefully later today. I'll shoot some more pics out via emails. |
See new thread...

Mike's boat is for sale.
I'd be all over it if someone wanted to buy mine http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/p...s-my-28-a.html Or someone could buy Mike's and then we could work a deal so I wouldn't have to pay tax :D |
You just want twins?
|
Not particularly. Just something a little smaller and preferably a Pantera. Pretty much just wanting to free up some cash.

whats your asking price? and did you ever find the missing power/speed? whats it running now? |
I didn't take it out all year so what was at the end of the other thread was pretty much it. When I started it up this summer, I was getting a very light mist from the starboard manifold/riser joint onto the valve cover. One of the four bolts was stripped out of the manifold. It needs to be tapped or the manifold replaced.
The hull is a 1986, the trailer is a 1994 South Florida triple axle 10500lbs. The trailer doesn’t have brakes, but I have two new axles with disc brakes and a new coupler. I would say that the boat is in better than fair condition for a 22 year old boat. The engine is a 540. It had 28 hours on it when I bought it from Z.Zuperboat. I’ve probably put 2 hours on it. I took the heads off and had them flowed at HVH. I then had Bob Madera (rmbuilder) custom make me a solid roller cam based on the motor/heads/exhaust that I was using. The motor was dyno’d before I bought it at 627hp, but like I said, I changed the cam. Madera said that it should be around 650hp. It also has full hydraulic steering and a swim platform. $28k with the motor, $23k without. It has about ˝ a cabin. The major part is carpeted. I’m 5’10” and I can lay either direction without touching. |
