:drink:Did the Sea Trial last weekend and it went very well, very impressive Hull - it was riculously solid. Afterwords Liz and I splashed the Donzi to get some linkage adjustments checked out with our Mechanical Surveyor and it felt like I was driving a peice of Paper with a motor compared to the 28.

This will be an awesome boat in the Cheasapeake Bay. Still a couple of items to be finalized - but we are in the final stages of the process. I won't be able to physically get it until after the Lake Cumberland Donzi Run anyway.

So end of the month it should be in my drive way or yard actually it won't fit in my driveway.

:party-smiley-020:About a week away from bringing it home... now I'm starting to get excited! Now it's becoming real!

Now I have to find a place to keep it.

Soooo at the risk of getting sucked into some unnecessary subterfuge, Danny, are you ready to let on which boat you bought yet?

And for the record, a number of people thought it was mine. It's not Duunoit owns my boat now... :)

:coolcowboy:Soon - the deal was once it's in my driveway then we can spill the beans. Trust me we're all anxious on this one. The current owner has become a good friend and will remain one - the Factory has been terrific at answering questions and communicating to ease my mind during the process.

It's gonna be an adjustment for Lizzy and I to get used to a much larger boat by comparison. But we're both looking forward to the experience. I think it will be the perfect boat for us on the Northern Chesapeake.

I'll post pics here first as soon as it's home - meanwhile this morning I have to run the 22 Classic to the Engine Builder to see what let loose at the Lake Cumberland Donzi Run last week. Unfortuantely - this is real boating.

Talk Soon

I know exactly how you feel .... when I bought the Shogren Pantera over a year ago I did not want to jinx anything and come out in the open, even though I was biting my tongue for weeks since there was all kinds of speculation on the board shooting around about the boat. Only once it was a done deal and I had it following my truck down the road did I pop my head up! :daz:

I always feel it's bad Karma to celebrate a new toy and spike the endzone before the deal is done ........:lolhit:

Chris and I did the same thing. Looking forward to seeing what you bought. By the way, where is South Central PA exactly? Middletown? Shippensburg? Is it a secret? :D

No secret - I live in Shrewsbury, right on 83 South just North of the Mason Dixon Line. I am south of York and North of Baltimore. One hour west of NorthEast Md via goat paths.

I will keep ya posted on the Cover- if all goes well it should be in its new home this coming weekend. :ernaehrung004:

I've had a lot of fun in that neck of the woods... Former girlfriend and currently one of my best friends lives in Middletown and works in E-Town. I've also done things in Lancaster that would peel the paint off Ebenezer Stolzfuss's buggy... :D

It'll be nice to have a Pantera brother in that neck of the woods! Good luck!
