What a great video! Thanks Jo!

P.S. My girl says "How much is it?" Hahahahah I don't think her purse is big enough and she has a huge purse for only being 97 lbs.

:Score-101010:

bigboat28 06-23-2009 08:23 AM

That boat is sweet.

WildThing 07-08-2009 10:12 AM

It's even sweeter in person

dba900 07-08-2009 03:09 PM

94 mph with a pair of 525s? That's really hauling the mail, no?

i hit 92 on my blue boat. so 94 is def possible with joes black boat. mine was heavier and he may have a few other tweaks that i dont know about. but low 90s is def the numbers. jo, i thought u took the 525s out of there? whatta ya looking to get for the boat anyway?

MIAMIBOYZ 07-09-2009 01:45 PM

I tested this boat with Jo in Lake X. We ran 94 with a full tank of gas and about 750 lbs of lead. No 35 can compete against this boat with the same set up.

onesickpantera 07-09-2009 05:43 PM

I love this boat. Is it side-by-side or a staggered set-up?

OPA 07-09-2009 10:40 PM

side by side

onesickpantera 07-10-2009 07:37 AM

94 is definitely impressive with full fuel and 750lbs added! I thought maybe they staggered this boat since it was for racing.

OPA, are you going to Boyne this weekend? I am kicking it around but it's suppose to rain all night and some of tomorrow morning.

OPA 07-10-2009 07:55 AM

no, i will be at the boat races on the detroit river, but starting to make plans for a weekend trip up there in aug.

That boat can run. Dont think F-2 boats were legal staggered

The Donzi ZR ran(and dominated) F2 and it's staggered.

I'm off to buy my mega millions tickets! :D

JO - PANTERABOATS 07-10-2009 10:05 PM

In F2 class you were only allowed a side by side set up.Drive height was limited to prop shaft 3 1/4 inches below the bottom and a 35' foot boat had to weigh 9000 pounds going in and 8400 pounds going out. 525 EFI powered boats in F2 had to run Sportmaster drive lower on the XR to help slow the boats down 1-2 MPH due to the extra drag to help even out the speeds with the 500 EFI boats.

Boat is complete less motors but I am willing to drop in new motors or sell as is. It is in perfect condition including a black Myco trailer with tool boxes, spare, and brakes.

Great Poker run boat or can make for a winning P-Class race boat.

Interesting, I guess only the pleasure ZRs were staggered???

JO - PANTERABOATS 07-12-2009 05:15 PM

In Super V class the boats were staggered not in F2.

I saw this boat this week. It's a great looking boat. Definitely need to get some pics posted.

MikeyFIN 08-02-2009 07:58 AM

Why you need pics?
Everyone thatīs a serious buyer sure knows this boat and where to find the pics, right ?
Iīm interested in a raceboat like this but am I a serious buyer?
Dunno... but I can be reached here and open to discussion.
I need only a hull minus engines and a transportation cradle for shipping.

Dude! Sweet! 08-04-2009 11:42 AM

Ha! Like asking for pictures of Warpath! :D

JO - PANTERABOATS 08-05-2009 09:58 PM

Email me at [email protected] and I will reply with a bunch of pictures of the black 35'.

A lot of water been under this bridge since 2009. Jo invited myself and my girl to come down and look at this boat as I was very interested in it. Truthfully, By the time I got there my interest was waning as I had really grown to like Phantoms. When we got to the shop and laid eyes on it my interest was instantly rekindled . That boat was a animal! I made my offer , we went back and forth a bit over the phone while Cin and I enjoyed So Fla and the Miami boat show, but we couldn't get a deal done. I built a new 34 Phantom and never looked back. A buddy said it was recently sold. Anyone know who has it or where it went? Sure would be great to see it out again. Here a few pics when we were there in 2010.

LOVING the cockpit on that!

SkaterMike82 12-20-2014 05:07 PM

I don't think this boat has been sold and is still in the hands of the Nunez. Unless it sold within the last cople of weeks.

bwd 12-16-2015 05:57 PM

Its very sad that Jo started this thread and is now gone at a way too young age. It seems like just yesterday We were there looking at it shooting the breeze with Jo about boats and lil Jo's cart racing. Does Peppi still have it ? As I said I heard it was sold but never heard anything more. Brian

Berk rather then stir anything up how bout just say where the boat is now and if it's being used... I loved this boat but there was no way in hell my wife was letting me buy a poker/race only boat. She has to have her cabin.

Berk 12-21-2015 01:17 AM

sorry i was busy on the weekend. I will reply to all pms.

OCCJOE, sorry i will not put anything here...

How about a one letter answer to the question: Did you get your money back? Y/N? I remember the the whole story just never heard the ending.

Berk 12-22-2015 09:54 AM

NO. did not even get a buck back
