Did you have to modify/lower the helm when you switched to the sit-downs? Where is the throttle/shifter?
GREAT looking boat! The stifter is still the old school type. Its in the dash in the factory location. It seems perfect. When I upgrade to the offshore style i will install the shifter in the same location. |
mikeb4 Pantera572 Dude! Sweet! Thank you very much.
Jo, you made my day! How cool is it to get a complement from the people who built my boat almost 30 years ago! |
As the others have already said the fairing looks really good !! Glad to see you went that route.

I used standard wood, wrapped fiberglass around the wood 6 times. blocked it out. Then skim coated it with body filler. Blocked it again. Urathane primered it, blocked it again. Then just painted it with base coat- clear coat in my garage. The color is off alittle. I made the yellow at work and didnt have the right tints to adjust the color but its ok for now. Im going for a overall look for this year.
How did you mount it?? |
