No it's not a GPS speedo, but I checked it against a portable gps unit and it was pretty much spot on, w/in 1 mph or so.

Could a sun pad be put back on the engine hatch? or do the motors sit too high?

I think that there is clearance for a sunpad, sure. I was planning on having Jo make me up one before I decided to sell.
