Any outboard 24s currently for sale?

Are there any pantera 24s with twin outboard setups for sale anywhere?

Beck427 and I are the only two that I can think of that are around off the top of my head. Who else has one? Anybody know?

It's not a Pantera, but there are many 24 Superboats w/ OBs for sale now.

My ideal would be to rig it with twins fairly close together and with separate fuel and electrical just in case anything went wrong, you wouldn't need a tow or anchor or paddle. (no offense intended, just thinking of taking one where there aren't any other boats around if something went wrong.)

24 Carrera (basically same hull but taller deck,,Carrera 7M was one of the best 24s ever made ) with twin 200 Mercs and trailer for $8000

TowboatUS is a LOT cheaper than a second motor:drink:

island2, your heart is set on a pantera?

You are probably right -- nearest towboatus boat is typically 30 miles away, so the fear of an hour of drifting or anchor before hitting the rocks is probably actually not worth hauling all the weight and expense of a second engine. But I sure like the feel of the second engine. I like the synchronous sound of two engines. I guess it's just a power thing that I'm trying to rationalize as a safety thing! But I'm stuck on the idea of twins.

Not totally - I really appreciate the link to the Carrera above which I had not even considered (so if anyone else thinks of some good options, would love to see them.) But I'm not desperate to buy -- the season is almost over here and I have one project already that has already dragged out for four months. So when I posted this I was thinking if the current project remained stalled I could go a different direction for 30 days of enjoyment and then storage for the winter, but now that my existing project is moving forward again it looks more likely that I won't get another boat yet this fall, unless the absolute perfect one (for me, not necessarily absolute perfect condition, just the right fit for what I can do and what I can't do) comes up.
