Been for sale for a while, it was up when Angel was looking also. I dont care for the interior, and it can't be too fast, both my 24, and Angels Twister went 50 with a 200. Overpriced IMO.

SkaterMike82 06-15-2010 01:48 PM

it is what it is what can you expect for a 5k boat with a motor. the interior is nasty. But then again you don't know if he's looking for a project or something to go enjoy

I have seen this boat before in the intercoastal, rides pretty bad. I looks like it has a hook in it or the owner does not know how to set up the tabs.

SkaterMike82 06-15-2010 08:20 PM

Well there you go...like i said before IDK anything about it and i have never seen it here in 305....so this leads me to say PASS

What do you mean has a hook? Could you close the transome and put a bracket and a 250? Would run about 65 huh?

YUP,

That is how my new setup is, closed transom, and 250EFi on a jackplate. I only ran about 60 before closing the transom in, but hope to hit 65 with a solid transom and setup, project should be complete in the next month, so we shall see.

what does "have a hook" mean

Pretend the boat is rightside-up, the bottom curves up from the transom; it is "dished" forward of the transom. This "hook" will drive the bow down, reducing performance.

The bottom edge below the transom is lower than the rest of the bottom, some boats come like this from the factory, pantera's do not.

sixmassive 07-08-2010 01:18 PM

So since it's a pantera it probably doesn't unless it was grounded an repaired?

Or hanging off trailer bunks improperly.

Pantera 24s are not supposed to have hook. In fact they have a little rocker. But you would have to put a straight edge on the hull to see. No way to tell by looking at a boat go across the water.
