A Few Newbie Pantera Questions....

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the forums and I'm just learning about Pantera's. I'm not in a financial position for a new boat right now but wanted to start researching my dream boat. I have a couple of questions...

What makes a sport edition different than a model thats not a sport edition?

What does the number mean when people refer to the number 3 or number 4? ex: someone in the forum asked, "Did you buy the Yellow #3 in Maryland?"

Thanks in advance for helping a newbie out.
-Dave :)

24 comes in sport or SE.
SE has the V shaped fairing.
Those numbers refer to the drive type.

I think the SE has a shorter nose and larger cockpit than the race version.

Cockpit size is actually the same on both it's just that the SE fairing allows easy entry into the cabin where as in a Sport you have to be a bit more flexible to get in.

And it gives you more dash space...

Gotta be real flexible, but sometimes you have to be flexible to look so cool!

Thanks guys. I like the angled fairings better than the straight ones.

I agree, and it is even harder to get in the cabin with a full width dash. Ray said to me last Sunday at the lake,"You dont really think I am climbing up there for the anchor do you" I told him to take the controls.:drink:
