slpcamaross97 11-26-2010 07:10 PM

how does your boat run with the twin turbos?

rchevelle71 11-26-2010 07:35 PM

Twin 200's ahould run around 70, I think it is slightly overpriced being as it needs a complete updating.

I was talking more about the look. These boats are classics and should be restored to reflect the era. I would hate to see a Yenko Camaro restored with modern day graphics along the side.
Mechanically, I can't complain when a 30 year old part goes on my boat. But I hear you. It is nice to have all new running gear. Just get in and go.

Dont get me wrong, I love the oldschool also, and may just change my scheme back to oldschool paint, the interior, gages etc are kinda there with the 3-man(but converted to newer style sit down), and black gages, but I couldnt do without GPS, and a modern stereo.

The modern touches are nice. I had to upgrade the stereo and speakers as well. Never needed a GPS. The wife tells me where to go
I was going to put modern gauges in. But i decided against it. Just would not suit the boat.
