Sold My 24 Today

A man came by today, I fired it up (started great after 6 months of lay up) he opened his wallet and he left with the boat.
I thought that the happiest day in a boaters life is the day he sells his boat...no so. Sad to see it go, but wife wants a porta-potti.
The 24 Pantera is one hell of a boat.
I told the new owner to join Offshoreonly. This site is a wealth of information.
Cheers,
Tom

p.s I might be jumping over to the Magnum owners section.

Wow..
Is it staying in Canada or coming south?

Craney 04-10-2011 06:14 PM

It was 8 years ago today I bought my 28 and still love it.:grinser010:

Staying in Canada. Not going far from my house. I am hoping to catch a ride every now and again.

I am considering getting a 28. There are some great deals out there. Just more than I have to spend.

Tom, wasn't there a place in your 24 for a porta-pottie? I have one in mine.

Mine had a flat fiberglass floor (from the bow bulkhead to the cuddy entrance) with full length custom cushions. The only way to use a porta potti would be to stick your head out of the deck hatch. I thought about cutting up the floor and redoing it. But decided not to.
Do you have any pics of your cuddy?

I sure was. That was the best motor I ever had in anything. Never let me down.
I even used the boat for trolling when I took my dad out fishing.

No. Unfortunately I don't have any pics. of the V-berth area. There is a little seat about two feet long on each side of the cabin door before the berth starts. the floor is lowered as low as possible in that area. The Porta-pottie is a seperate little cushion and box right in the end of the berth. You do have to pee on your knees and stick your head throught the hatch though!

LOL. That's why I did not cut up my floor. I figured I still could not fit.
