Tim, thanks for the pic. To bad that is where it stayed all weekend which really blew. Oh well one more carb to send out and I will be good to go, hopefully. LOL

Tim how did you like that scum line. That water was nasty. I tried to wipe it off when I took it out and it would not come off, at home tried soap and water and that would not work either. I had to use this awesome stuff and that worked well.

I put on a fresh coat of lower wax before we left and still had to use mildew remover to get the scum line off

I had my boat in the water all weekend and my scum line wiped right off. I cleaned it when i first took it out of the water though.

took an hour to get the boat clean. and i waxed it before i left for the weekend. heavy car wash soap and alot of elbow grease got it clean. not somewhere i would wanna keep my boat in all the time spend more time cleaning it than using it

I assume you guys are talking about the black ring. Thats from the houseboat generators at the dock. Happens every year at the poker run. Its much better if you dock on the outside slips.

FuelinAround 09-14-2011 05:56 PM

Yeh, I was in harmon....I know several high dollar boats that stay down there and the rings aren't always that bad. If you tie up to a houseboat it helps to tie up on the left side towards the front so you are away from where the rear exhaust dumps.... I have fought it every year and it's not enough to keep me away from this run.
