fuel level sensor

does anyone know what fuel level sensor is in a 28 pantera. and where i can purchase one. i tested my gauge and determined its the sensor in the tank.

I just replaced mine. I got it from Lavorsi. I got the one that the float is round and is around a metal tube that goes straight down into the tank. You just measure the depth of your tank and then buy the correct lengthed one. Mine seams to be working very well although it has very little use so far, lol. I wish I would have got a shorter one which would have given me more reserve when it actually read empty though.

Double check the wire connections at the sensor first if you haven't. They came loose for me before and were a little coroded. If they are good, then its a Livorsi sender. The boat has a 120 gallon tank, not the 140 like the newer ones. You'll need know the tank depth to order one.

My 89 has a 110 gallon tank and a 60 bow tank.
