Pantera's on Lake George, NY
Last weekend I saw 3 other Pantera's on Lake George. Two 24's and a 28. An all white 24 flew past me at 80+ MPH and another 24 was tied up on Long Island. It's the one with a "Z" shaped paint scheme which is familiar to this website. The 28was the American Flag boat with twins. I think it is Sonny Bonochio's old boat. Then a couple of weeks ago I saw Ironman up past the narrows. Everyone of them looked SWEET! :evilb:

I also saw a twin OB 24 se that weekend, it was white with BIG green eyes. Your 28 looks so much longer than 28 from a distance being all white, Looked awesome.

Don't you remember that all white 24 from a few years ago when you were out in your Donzi. The 28 was looking good Norm, that was some fun water in the 24
Hows Candlewood doin'? one of these days I am gonna tow my pig back up there, is the hatch still open? |

Green Eyes - I was on land this past weekend at that little boat show and saw you pulling up as I was leaving in the truck. Boat was looking good.

You will get hassled without mufflers, also need to be somewhat smart about where and when you decide to push the throttles a little....

It's a beautiful time of year on Lake George. Last Sunday I cruised all the way up to Ticonderoga. Just magnificent. But definitely put mufflers on if you come. They do listen and they do check.

It sure is still open. Still gotta watch the noise on that lake. I put my boat on it once and "tip-toed" around.

Depe Dene
88 Bullet,
I was up at LG 2 week ends ago for the car show, stayed at the Depe Dene. Its nothing like the rooms at Trump Marine but for a couple of us guys who were boating during the day and checking out the car show and bar hopping in town at night it did the job and the money was right. Docks where ok, some got beat up pretty bad from the storms. Lake George is a great place to boat, slip on your mufflers and respect the populated areas and shoreline and you will have no problems with the water cops at this time of the year. Morgan I did get a sound ticket a few years back, got some Gibson slip on mufflers and went back the next weekend and haven't had any trouble since. |
