they have to triple there money :)
and for a boat that has been raced and damaged .
crazy what are they thinking

Griff 11-13-2011 01:10 AM

I'm betting the price is so high because of the import taxes that had to be paid.

"P1 racing vessel with spare engine, spare racing props, custom modified truck and trailer - fully equipped to enter the exciting world of Offshore Power Boat racing. This vessel has already had a very successful year of racing and is being sold in a fully operational condition as a total package."

Not just the boat, but still may be a little steep.

Took a 2nd place last year in the 2010 Cowes - Torquay race in very rough water conditions and this year took a 1st place in its class and 2nd place overall only 8 seconds behind the first place boat which was powered by much larger HP at the 2011 Cowes-Torquay-Cowes race.

It is an awesome rough water boat !

the black rails look good on top of the blue. What do you have for power? Jo why is he selling so soon? I thought you were supposed to team up with him, and race.

I was more referring the customs duty import tax, which I believe is very high.

Its kind of a like national sales tax in the UK. I think the rate is 20%.

I'm really not sure of all the specifics of either tax and when they are applied.
