Any difference of 24sport v 24se besides dash..

Does one have more cabin room than the other? Also if you were to race a 24 is there a preference between the two? Thanks Jeff

one has a cabin door and the other you have to go under the dash board " i think "

:)

Same hull, Same deck, with a vee shaped windscreen, allows the dash if you want to call it that(all 24's have a pod with gages, steering etc, mine is the only one I know of with a full width dash). Due to the vee shaped widscreen there is a flat area where a top cabin door can be added to allow for extra headroom entering the cabin.

I always thought the 24 sport deck was longer because the cockpit on the SE alwayed looked bigger

X2, although I think the deck is a bit different toward the cockpit.

Room is about the same, but the SE has a better cuddy entrance because of the top door and added headroom.

Can't go wrong with either one as they're one of the best 24s out there. IMO the SE is more practical and the Sport looks a bit better with the longer looking bow.

Also I think T-mone's 24 has a full dash instead of a pod.

Pretty sure the deck just LOOKS longer, as the vee of the winscreen/cockpit entrance doesnt cut into it.

Actually, I retract the statement about the full width dash, probably MOST sitdown boats have a wide dash. I forgot about the sitdowns, stuck on oldschool:lolhit: Actually now that I removed the 3-man sitdown, and have the standups in mine, I am probably gonna reconfigure it back to an oldschool pod dash.
