I almost bought that one before I got my 28. It belonged to Fred Cecil way before he started Trick Marine. TT bought it within a week or so of it going up for sale.

Hi Bullet thats a nice looking boat ,they look so nice in just white ,i think it was for sale wheni was looking for mine about 2 years ago i saw a picture of it, it was sitting up on a boat hoist in its docking bay .it looked very nice ,they seem to look even bigger when all white , good luck a have a safe ride home .

Thirsty Turtle 11-19-2011 05:56 AM

Happy and sad day today!

Seems we change motorsports hobbies every 10 years or so. The last few years has found more and more motorcycles in the stable.

We've enjoyed the hell out of the Pantera. She's been a great boat.

Paul,
I remember the boat your thinking, but that wasn't ours.

Bruce

Ahhh but look wots at the end of the drive . i used to love going on a journey to pick something new to me up , addmittedly not 15 hours driving ,if you drove anywhere for 15 hours here in England you would be in the sea . paul

88.... make sure you post a pick of the rig hooked for us home boys !!

I remember a few yrs ago I did the same thing. 15 hrs to NJ, a quick ride and a turn-a-round 15hrs back home. What a geek scene:drink:

88bullet 11-20-2011 04:01 PM

got home AT 3 AM on the dot. fell asleep instantly and got up around 1 today. took the boat to lake ontario today. ran great. it was a little cold and 3-4 foot rollers. didnt get a chance to reallly open it up but maybe tomorrow on my lunch break i will take it to the water and go for a rip before i winterize it for the year. the boat is in beautiful shape and runs like a rolex. now just have to wait till spring lol. the boat was owned by thursty turtle in minnesota since 2001. the 02 on yachtworld green and black was originally all white from NJ. look in the pantera owner gallery pics you will see it sitting on the hoist.

time to start looking for a swim platform. and i want drive and trim indicators. let me work on some pics. prob take a few tomorrow since its already dark out.

Perlmudder 11-20-2011 05:19 PM

looks great! you gunna add aftermarket hyd steering?

88bullet 11-20-2011 05:22 PM

yeah im gonna look for some external steering. at least just the outside rams. might not go full helm. the steering is smooth and effortlless as it is now.

IRONMAN 11-20-2011 06:04 PM

Congrats, Great looking ride, I always liked that twin in white. 502's right? Good things must always come from 15+ hours away, I went to TN for mine a while back. Good luck with the new ride!
