i would hope so but there's not much hp difference between the 2 motor's most of the power will be felt in the mid range with the supercharger . this is only from what I have read with other boat's when they compare the 525 and the 600 motor's in a single application .
when I had my single 750hp 28 the best top speed was 84 mph with JO driving the boat after that I never saw that speed again .

It will be a little quicker than that once we get it dialed in with the correct prop. Ran as much as a 30 pitch Hydromotive 4 blade tonight and was all over the rev limiter with mufflers on it. This boat has a sink and cooler option with a pump out head, complete cabin, nice sound system, GPS, Billet throttle, carbon series monster gauges, pop up indicators, Momo Trek wheel, etc. etc. It is not real light by no means but it will lay it down out in some rough water. I will take a video tomorrow while out in the ocean.

Going out in the ocean tomorrow. Handled perfect and turns on rails with the T.S. bottom. Rigging came out immaculate. We ran hoses from the dual intake naca ducts on the custom engine hatch close to the K&N air filter for better performance. According to the Mercury Racing factory rep. there is only a 2-3 MPH difference between the 600 SC package and the 525 EFI ( 560 HP on the dyno ) but it does accelerate strong in the mid range even in the hot and humid temps late this afternoon. You can also do quite a few modifications on the 600 SCI model to bump the HP an additional 100 - 150 HP.

I'm on the way to sea trial with Jo and Pepe😊The 2 motors are close, but the ITS should make a little it run a couple mph better.

My prediction is 88mph with the right prop.

someone told me steps are worth 10%. vs a flat bottom. should run awsome!! you tube guys!!!! bring a go pro with you too!!

Watch out for those mufflers on the 600sci. (especially in a single vee config)

My 26 outlaw with 600sci dropped 4+mph GPS when I put gibson clamp-ons on.
Mufflers looked great, noise reduction was big yet still sounded good, but man I was shocked at the difference in top end.

Would be best to test that boat without mufflers!
but I know it has to be dialed in as is.

I think that's a bit much ,

I would think around the low 80's is doable ,

the flat bottom 525 boat's would run around 70 -72 mph from what I have herd , so again I think low 80's would be the ticket ,
10% for the step bottom would bring it to the 78 mph that ducky's boat ran plus a few mph for the 600 pony's and the its.
88 mph would be great but the math doesn't ad up .

Very nice looking boat.

We're back from a sea trial with Jo in the rain. The boat ran perfect in 3-5's on the ocean. The ride and quality is awesome. No rattles or issues. I love it. I can't upload pictures from my iPhone but maybe Jo will.

How fast (GPS) was the rain hitting your face?

81.8 on the bay, need some prop help needed yet. 70+ in 3-5's on the ocean was really fun. Jo can drive!

What prop? With mufflers or without? You need 3.2mph as I don't like the taste of crow! LOL

that's a great speed for that boat , just remember that JO will get every last mph out of that boat and it won't be a everyday top speed once you have some fuel and equipment in the boat .
but the good thing is with that speed you should be able to run very close to 80mph all the time :)

Is there any doubt Berks money is what finished your boat? Very nice boat but Berk appears to have integrity unlike the builder who has screwed over more then one person as proven in courts of law, and for someone to mock berk is un-called for.
Sad that integrity is just a word to too many in this boating community.

Not an expert but I'm not naive enough to not know 2+2 does not equal 4.
The same way others 2 year old builds before your gourgous boat got completed. The lucky ones anyway that did not get hosed.
