Here are some more. The 1st canopied race boat ever built back in 1985.It became a norm in offshore power boat racing after that. Pantera 28' powered by twin 600 HP small blocks.

My Father racing at Key West Worlds in 1980 when this awesome picture was taken in his Pantera 28' triple outboard.

One of the first Pantera 28' built. The other is an article done in an Italian Magazine on the Pantera 24' SE model.

JO that 28 on the Hitchhiker trailer is one, I think we (your Dad, Anglo and myself ) finished up it's rigging on the patio at the beach show back then, Way cool old memories and a very straight Black sided boat he built and it ran very well.

jo- post some pics of the 24 Wicked (black boat)...this would be around a 1992 w/ a 420 merc (then would have a trs as package) and this boat had a bravo w/ keikhaefer remote mufflers. I think this was an illinois boat from bill dahl...very cool. Got pics being built on 188th?

I know I have it. I will try and find it on Monday and post the picture of the Wicked 24' being built while at ThunderBoat Row 188 ST.

Great story Steve 1.

The $ 50.00 check was 1st place prize money. My Father decided not to cash the check. The Pantera sign was from the factory while located at 188 st. Thunderboat Row in 1990.

I will post some more pics. tomorrow on this thread. We have been busy out back. Here is one from The Key West Worlds F2 class.

This is the black 24' you are talking about while being delivered in 188 St. I will see if I can find a pic. when it had the Wicked name painted on the hull sides.

Here is rapper Vanilla Ice taking delivery of his Pantera 28' powered by twin 502 / 465 HP back in 1993 in Thunderboat Row. It was really cool boat back then. The boat was came out on Lifestyles of the rich and famous , and a few different magazines with Ice behind the wheel.

It was the first boat put together with a purple colored upholstery. It became very popular !
