Looks like ba barracus & murdock used to be into 24s !!!!!!

Only good thing about alpha vs trs is the alpha boat can be converted to a bravo in a afternoon !!!!

mgh 05-01-2012 07:04 PM

whats up on the one in Seattle. My kinda price :)

Brandon Anderson 05-04-2012 07:54 PM

Buying one for 6900 sound good, after you spend another twenty thousand on it. you will have what you wanted. Been there done that still doing it....

Actually I think that can be a huge plus for the right person as it is so incredibly easy to bolt in a bravo.... just add the 2 bolt holes, and a sea water pump and bingo like combat zone said

You chime in here and you always have to make a smart A$$ comment. If you don't have nothing good to say then take a long walk on a short pier.

is the Seattle boat really not a good deal is it just because of the trs? seems like under 500 hp pick up a spare outdrive they seem to be readily available and you got yourself a decent boat or what am i missing here

scarab63 05-05-2012 07:48 AM

Gene the boat seems fair to me. Plenty still run trs w/o problems.
My guess is that if it was on the east coast it may sell a bit easier????
If your thinking about this one take the $6900 + $500 for survey + $2 to $3 to transport it across the country and I think it will not be worth it.
Plenty of east coast boats, especially on long island that you could drive down, inspect, & trailer home in a day.

It would look great if you powder coated the windscreen frame silver and moved the hull reg numbers back some, That one must be one of the first few SE models also.

Why would you do that? Setup is fine as it is.

I'd just like to know where that '86 Camaro is sitting on blocks missing those 4 red rally wheels on his trailer. Lol...

Brandon Anderson 05-07-2012 11:26 PM

I can honestly say I have had a few big block alphas and never had one let loose. I think the driver has to be quick on the sticks and all is good. On this size boat I think it would hold up. Just my opinion

Powerquest_Baby!! 05-08-2012 01:34 AM

That Pantera in Seattle has been for sale for a while. I was boat shopping 2 months ago and it was available then (closer to $8k though). I didnt go look at it because of the TRS and because I found my 1988 Wellcraft Spyder 26 with a 454 mag and bravo 1 for $7500.

--If someone is REALLY interested (its 50 miles away) I have this week off from work and will go down and take some pics plus inspect it for you.

88bullet 05-08-2012 07:00 AM

dont forget shipping!! i went from buffalo ny to tennesee for #1..buffalo to minnesota for #2 and shipped #3 from cali. it wasnt cheap. on the low end figure 1.50-2 bucks a mile for shipping!! and there are alot of scams in the shipping world so be careful. shipping can make a good deal a not so good deal when you buy a boat even at a steal of a price and costs 3-4k to move it across country

Stormrider 05-08-2012 08:18 AM

Deals? You want a deal go buy a baja.
Panteras are few and far between for sale and are rarely local.
If its a Pantera you NEED, then you'll do what it takes to get one home.
