Good Luck!!!
Stay safe, and don't break anything - unless that's what it takes to win!

Let us know how the Tempest works!
The Tempest was a disappointment Not enough lift, neither bow or stern, Mirage + 27 about the same but faster. We ended up with the labbed Bravo 28 that has a huge slip.

Compared to the Bravo the Rev 4 has wicked acceleration and awesome cornering...

We did win though!!!

Average speed was 75.9MPH on flat water with a not too great prop so I'm very happy!

Congrats Tomas!!

Not bad for a boat that's almost 35 yrs old - with a few mods.

Thanks guys!

Anyone know of a 496 mag HO PCM for sale, from around 2006 and newer. I want to replace my PCM from 2000 with a newer one, and it must be an original part # since that's one of the criterias for my racing class.

A short movie from last weekends race, we're in it three times. The time line is a bit off, the first two times we pass by is supposed to be inverted.

The white/blue Pantera is rigged about the same as mine, but it's a 1999 (I think) with a bit more interior left in it and a couple 100 Lbs heavier.

Do the 496's really have that wining sound or is it just these clips?

0.18 / 3.49 and 9.03min

It looks pretty light in the 9.03 clip, right...

Tomas you've got the attitude flying perfect on that boat . That whistle noise isn't the 496 ! That's the air and water celebrating the gentle message that slick hull just gave them when it glided over ! LOL !

Hahaha, that's not even with the best prop.

Tested a standard 26 Bravo today. It ran beautiful - almost as good as the Rev 4.

The difference from before was that the boat was empty, 20 gallons of fuel and by my self.

It ran 81.8mph at 5000rpm which gives a slip of about 7%!
