600 sci, sweet. I always thought these boats would need more than a 525 to bring them alive!

What drive does it have? Also, how does it pick up water? I have a 600sci also. The motor has proven to be very difficult to set up, especially with the Whipple stage 2 upgrade I installed. Don't take that the wrong way, I love the power, just haven't gotten all the bugs out yet. So I continue to take notes with others. I hope you don't mind sharing.

I have a Bravo Its with both water pickups. I think it loses water pressure at high speed with some trim once in a while. I get an alarm and it goes into safe mode. Yours too?

Was there anything wrong with the gel coat when at came from Pantera? This is one of the BEST looking boats out there and not just Pantera.

Welcome to the 600sci alarm club. ( hi charge Temp )
I've worked slowly on this for a while. My next step at the beginning of next year will be to purchase the improved chiller intake and output fitting kit from Dustin Whipple and see if that improves the flow of water to cool the supercharger. I can gently run up to 5000 rpm about 83mph and stay just under the alarm. But... With 850 left on the tach to play with, I'm leaving a good 12 plus on the table. However, I rarely need, want or desire to run that fast. So I slowed down my efforts to fix this issue. One thing I do know. The only way I'm aware that this problem has been completely solved with my setup, was with a direct water pick up. I have the bravo XR drive with the Sportmaster.

That's sound's like the answer "" low water pick up on bottom of hull " with the high x on these's boats when you get going real fast with trim up there's to much air mix.
sound's like the low water pick up would be the cheapest fix.
good luck

To deal with the air rated water, I installed the large stainless marine sea strainer with overflow valve specifically designed to solve this issue. Sadly, while not a bad item to have regardless, it didn't solve the problem. I'm convinced that the heat generated by the supercharger at and above 5000 rpm's is higher than the factory water flow through the chiller can disburse. Dustin Whipple has an upgrade to the inlet and outlet of the chiller for a significant fee. I wouldn't mind paying if just for once, someone would stand behind their claim that it will solve the problem. I'm slightly curious to learn what the actual effectiveness of the chiller is. Would a bigger chiller be a better solution?

I don't want to high jack this thread, so perhaps we'd be better to continue this via pm's. I have spoken with M39976 (Mark) directly. I'm always happy to chat on this subject. As I seek the holy grail. What I have learned over the last 4 years is significant. However, every boat is different. The solutions are not always the same.

What exactly is "air rated" water? Is it different than water rated water, or perhaps fire rated water?

Ok, I promise to use my glasses when on this forum in the future. I can't figure out this autocorrect stuff, it seems to make some very strange changes from time to time. But for my fellow OSO member that needs to have everything just right, the word was supposed to be aerated.
