Boat is a is Mid to late 90s I think. |
Hey everyone, that's mine and my brothers boat, it's a 97 and we won on Sunday, the boat ran extremely well in the rough water. The engine builder we used for key west was Jeff Cropper from JC Performance in New York. We didn't run weds or friday due to some steering issues.

Sunday definitely seemed like the roughest day too. JC builds a great motor. He ran well all week, except the last portion of Sunday's race. Hopefully he'll recover quickly. |
Congrats Superheat on the Sunday Win...

Congrats! :) JC builds great engines! Besides he's a great guy!
But the 24 looks way to heavy on the back. Please straight this out for me, but why a #3 setup on a 24? |

simple answer if we had run a bravo in key west we would have broken it. We chose a speedmaster setup for reliablity so we don't have to worry about the bravo breaking, we usually run a 4 which is a lot shallower but ran the 3 to help the boat track a little better in rough water and not prop walk so much!

And we had a drive trim issue and couldn't trim the drive in anymore to get the bow down that's why it was running a little kitey.

Great video Gregg ! Nice to see that Pantera 24' still running that strong.
I remember going with my family to see Scott B race in it for the first time I think in 2000 at Holiday Isle which he won. JO |
Thank you very much JO. We really appreciate it. Great boat love it, just too small for these days! Time to move up :helmet:
