Anyone close enough to take a peek at it?

88bullet 03-08-2013 03:07 PM

he isnt in syracuse. he is in morristown ny up on the st lawrence river. at least its fresh water up there!!. 2 hours north of syracuse ny.

Kyle its right up your alley!!!

Trojan-man 03-19-2013 02:08 PM

I talked to him about a week ago. He said no rot and the engine runs fine. He also said he wouldn't budge on the price and that he had 8 people coming to look at the boat that weekend. As of today, he still has it. My guess is that it has been sitting out in the field uncovered for a long time and may have some water penetration issues lol. Is anybody close by that can go have a look? I'd even pay somebody gas and lunch money lol !!

sparky24 03-29-2013 04:29 PM

yea if it needs an interior watch out for rot this could be an expensive down payment into a 20k project

ps theres a small block pantera for sale on cape cod as of this weekend

ThunderFanatic 03-30-2013 03:45 PM

STAY AWAY!!!!!! Talked to the guy interior needs a rebuild completely wood foam and rap RED FLAG!! Right there secondly apparently it's a stock 330 with 480 hp has a nice intake (sellers words) so wher he's getting 480hp out of a cast 330 with just a different intake I have no idea. I'm willing to bet the floors are rotted to ****. He won't take any less then what he's asking. All the way around just a bad deal. Supposedly has a guy from Kentucky and Cali coming to look at it i feel bad for those poor bastards.

Trojan-man 03-30-2013 05:31 PM

Yep, he had 8 guys coming to look at it the weekend I called him and no takers. He won't budge on his price and he swears there is no rot in the boat, only the interior needs redone. I can't tell what the gelcoat/paint looks like from the pics. Has anyone on here seen the boat in person?

88bullet 03-30-2013 06:03 PM

Haven't seen the boat in person but I do have pics of the interior. I will post them when I get home

i will never understand why people use roller trailers... flip the boat over and use it to do your laundry the old school way

cuposterchild 04-08-2013 02:08 PM

I have a place in Morristown and know of the boat...I can tell you I have seen it on the mooring bouy once and rest of the time was outside covered with tarps. I drive by it every weekend and probably 99% of that time over the last 8 years it has been on the trailer. Talked to the owner at the ramp once when I had my 24 Superboat...seemed like a nice guy. I can probably look at this with an unbiased view (been down the 24x7 road and was fun but prob not going anytime soon)

Trojan-man 04-08-2013 02:28 PM
