Foot Rest Dimensions

Can someone get me measurements on the footrests?

I basically need the cross section of the right triangle.
Length, height and hypotenuse.

does that make sense?

i would like to apologize for not getting the deminsions when i was at my boat today. i got a little excited about taking it out for the first run of the year that i forgot to take pics and measure. but the lake was a blast even tho it was 46 deg today on the water!!

Stormrider 04-27-2013 08:47 PM

ttt...
Anyone?

paul buckner 04-30-2013 04:15 PM

Hi Rob i am Q sure i mesured the the section you want , i mesured the triangle at the end of the foot rest i can mesure the foot plate size if you need it i have my boat at my house .

Stormrider 04-30-2013 06:38 PM

No offense paul, i was just looking for a confirmation.
I'm not sure I'll be able to make mine that high.

The width is not as important, because i can make that as wide as i want.

What i am looking to do is make them out of a hard closed cell foam... like a yoga roller.
The will weigh nothing, and they can be held in place w/ the hook side of velcro against the carpet.
Plus i can move them outta the way, as they will be infront of the cabin entrance.

I'll take some measurements of the boat, now that i have it, and will work from there.

im going to my boat tomorrow i will try it again lol

i had to borrow one from my friend who is a roofer... im a mechanic haha

i was able to take some pics tonight. a little blurry since i was a little tired from doing exhaust manifolds on a ford F-150 today. but you get the general idea

20" wide from end to end
13" tall on the slope
10.5" back to front
8.5" tall

last pic is of them installed in place so you can see how they fit. mine are not fastened in at all. but when i have the carpet in the boat they dont move in normal boating. when your in the rough water your feet keep them in place

Stormrider 05-01-2013 08:28 PM

thanks tim!
That definitely gives me enough to work with!
Gotta get out on the boat and run it a bit, then decide how i'm gonna want them sized.

88bullet 05-01-2013 08:33 PM
