Had a real short window of opportunity tonight so I worked on the steering for an hour trying to bleed the system a bit, not done but 1 hour closer,Should have some free time this weekend so looking forward to getting a few more tidbits taken care of.

You only have a couple weeks to get ready for the NYD run! Hope to see you out in the 24. ;)

Well consequently 2 years ago NYD was when I blew the engine up so it would be great to make it. I also had it over to Ryan Beckleys yesterday talking about the future stripes.

Awesome! This is a great event and Ryan is a great guy.

Didn't do much today, moving real slow due to my inexperience. I did however manage to get the trim sender wiring in, the drive oil plunger and seal in the bellhousing. I couldn't find my stainless clamps for the oil hose so I'll get to West Marine in the morning for those. Hopefully I'll get the bellhousing buttoned up, but getting the drive on by myself will be a task for sure.

Block for the hydraulic trim lines in, bellows, oil line, trim senders and bellhousing in, drive and steering rams on. Went together nicely without incident, slung the drive off the forklift and left the strap long so I could have some swinging room. I did a dry run then stuck the gaskets and away it went. Here's the pics.

Having an issue with hyd oil from the steering in the bilge. Seems that the pump is low when running then after running it fills and is pushing out the cap.
