24' Pantera
Getting excited for spring! As soon as the weather gets warmer this 415ci small block is getting dropped in!
http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps957d5b83.jpg Couple more shots of the boat http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...psef282a22.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...67363633_o.jpg |
Where are you at and what year is your boat?
Wow interesting rig! and nice power!
cool, any interior pics?
I'm on the Chain O Lakes in Illinois. It's an 88. No Interior pics right now. I'm not too sure how the 415 came about but I think it's been in this boat a long time. Previous owner had for like 15 years. I thought he said this boat went through TNT at some point in its life.
there was mention of that boat in a thread a few years ago. it was a pretty clean rig if i remember correctly. did you just pick it up?
Yeah the boat is in great shape, a few minor things needed to be addressed just because of its age. Got it a few months ago. Had it out once for a test ride before I bought it at the end of the season. Pulled the motor and got it rebuilt and fixed a few other things. Definitely ready to get her in the water this year!
Looks like a nice boat with some good potential. It's crazy, I've been looking to buy a 24 for months now and never see any for sale but looks like you found a decent one. Congrats on the purchase!
Cool boat. What exhaust are you using?

Mbobb - this boat was one of those its not for sale but could be for the right price thing. I looked around forever at Pantera's until this one came up as a possibility. Vintage Chromoly - I haven't even looked closely at what brand the exhaust parts are. Headers resemble EMI style, they aren't tubular. It is dry exhaust and have minimal mufflers on there lol The first picture is with the motor out so the pipes are sticking further out than what they normally would. The second picture the motor is still in and how they will appear normally. |
During the test ride. Keep in mind this was the tired 415 in there and a less than ideal prop. Still ran pretty good though.
