Kinda! as in comparing Ferrari to a Range Rover ............Y2K Superboat is lighter, faster and more of a wave splitter .The 28 Pantera is heavier ,slower but way more stable and a wave crusher . And despite the loa on the Y2k being almost 32' the 28 Pantera dwarfs the Superboat .
There are a few boats that you could consider similar to the 28 Pantera but the Superboat is not one of them .

Damn looks like a nice boat and a good buy. Magnums are good boats I hope it is in good condition and not just a fluff job. Do you know the boat?

PARASAIL941 01-31-2015 06:19 PM

I dont know the boat but have friends in the Miami area that could verify condition ( real boat builders/riggers that would pick it apart like hawks). I'll be over for the boat show and could check it out if needed.

I'm in the marine business and a Magnum owner . After moving away from S Fla. , I found out what the rest of the country pays to have things done. Not to stereotype , but seems like everyone in Miami knows a friend / family member that does interiors , glasswork , paint , ect . Never difficult to get something done reasonably Call me if you have questions Bill 941-681-1870 . Happy Hunting!!!

It's a good time of the year to buy boats. http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/boa/4867386239.html Pretty good deal if not trashed.
