I did try a quad IV and it was okay. However, it was too big as it was a borrowed 27. Boat felt sticky at WFO and needed a ton of trim. A smaller prop may have been better.
I 100% agree with the boat hating a stock Bravo. I tried several props and my favorites were the turbo lightning 3 blade and rev4. I tried a labbed 27 mirage plus and worked well but was similar to the lightning. |

I have a new 540 EFI build for my little 24 SE in the works. Should be complete by the middle of April and estimated 620 to 630HP.
Question... is anyone running similar HP? If so what 4 blade prop are you running? Previously been running the REV4 25 pitch with 530HP spinning roughly 5150 RPM. I know this prop will not cut it but I am looking for something very similar in handling. Let me know.... Thanks.... and THINK SPRING!! |

Mark, not sure yet. Took a couple years off and may jump back in next year, but not this year. 14(or was it 15?) years straight of boat ownership burned me out a bit!
