I did try a quad IV and it was okay. However, it was too big as it was a borrowed 27. Boat felt sticky at WFO and needed a ton of trim. A smaller prop may have been better.

I 100% agree with the boat hating a stock Bravo.

I tried several props and my favorites were the turbo lightning 3 blade and rev4. I tried a labbed 27 mirage plus and worked well but was similar to the lightning.

Hammerdome, just curious, is your boat the old Kami Kazi raceboat?

I believe Mark (scarabman) bought the boat new and sold it to Kirk (elite marine) and I bought the boat from Kirk.

Correct on the above.

Whats your next boat Scott?

Mark, not sure yet. Took a couple years off and may jump back in next year, but not this year. 14(or was it 15?) years straight of boat ownership burned me out a bit!

Plus I have a "friend" that owes me a large sum of money that I need back before I do anything. :angry-smiley-055:

Question... is anyone running similar HP? If so what 4 blade prop are you running?

Previously been running the REV4 25 pitch with 530HP spinning roughly 5150 RPM. I know this prop will not cut it but I am looking for something very similar in handling.

Let me know....

Thanks.... and THINK SPRING!!

FYI your boat isn't a SE, it's a Sport. :D

It is a sweet boat! It only took me 5 years of asking him to sell it to me before he finally gave in. Every previous owner took very good care of it, still original interior too. Only thing that has really changed is the engine... on # 4? or 5 now? lol...
