This picture was taken at Key West World Championship in 2001 and has My Father and I receiving our 1st place trophy from the late Al Copeland from Popeyes fame and Reggie Fountain.

This pic. was taken in 1976 Miami offshore race. Race was called off half way thru the race because of a closing Hurricane and most racer's getting lost on the way to the Florida Key's. My Father was in this Pantera 24' and was sponsored by TV 6 "The perfect getaway".

There was a race boat taken on water so a helicopter was sent out to look for the boat and the helicopter went down. Then a 2nd Helicopter was sent to look for the 1st helicopter and the 2nd helicopter also went down. NO MORE HELICOPTERS WERE SENT AFTER THAT.:p

I love it.
This takes me back to Ft Lauderdale in the late 70's. That's when I caught the bug.
