75% of the perceived "value" of that boat is in its history.
I agree, that it will cost a small fortune to properly bring it back. I know this first hand as I have double what I thought into mine and I'm roughly 3/4 of the way done. :daz: |
I was only busting balls ..call the guy scott that owns the boat hes great to deal with .I bought the 08 top gun he had... he told me all about this 1 also ..hes got a 382 poker run boat and a couple 41 velocitys less power also

The weird thing is the trailer still looks great.....looks like that was the only thing cared for. It's tough to tell the boat's true condition based on the sun glare and wet surfaces with these pics but I agree I was blown away when I first saw them. Sad

As John Candy said on Planes, Trains and Automobiles...That'll buff right out. LOL Damn it's a shame to see some awesome boats are let to go to sh&t. I'm sure some industrious future owner will bring it back to life. That will be the next refurb string, hopefully over this winter!

so i like this boat, but before i call,make an appointment for a looksee drive the 6 hours and throw an offer out there,
i figured some research was in order, very little on the internet about this boat but i did find a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTpZfreiux0 then on pantera website theres a little story http://www.panteraboats.com/newsletter.php like to get any and all reliable info on the boat as possible for the right price i'd like to pick this thing up but i don't want to find out the hard way that i shoulda kept looking and waiting thanks |
Just go look and go through it real good. Take a pick with you and stick any open screw or bolt holes in the transom, Look at the stringers at the front of engine compartment at firewall, the spreaders crack loose at this point from taking a beating. If its solid, Good. make a deal if you can. any thing can be fixed! just money. there is a 525EFI on this site. the guy is asking 15k. swing by him and grab that while yer out. Good Luck

I no it was hit in there first race by another boat and caused some major hull damage that Pantera fix for them
