41' Pantera just hit the market.
http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/40032
There is no info on the boat. Just pictures and a price. |
Bravo drives sure are great for the application. I am sure they love a 41 foot 10,000 pound boat.
Edit: Just realized they want $275,000. Steep for a boat that obviously sat in the water. The drives have growth on them and they sanded the bottom to get the barnacles off. What did the 41's end up running like with 525's? |
To much $$$ for that boat , like Keith said you can tell it was sitting in the water
|
How bout that trailer.........oh never mind.

They like to pack em in real tight in Spain no pontoons to tie up on just boat to boat and usually stern on , and have to Pick up a bow line chained to the seabed to hold the front ,most of them guys over there have more hours on there bow thrusters than the motor trying to get em in the small gaps .

That thing looked really good when new

The boats look beautiful. Has anyone on this board besides Jo (rip) or Pepe been in one running or had the opportunity to drive one of these beasts? I've read through the posts regarding the few 41's built ( speed, handling).
just curious thanks |
I recall Jo telling me that boat originally went to an owner in South Africa but I may be wrong.

just curious thanks BTW the 41 "Panache" was based in part off the 42 Chief. |
I like the black one they raced better..where is that nowadays?
|
Pantera bought the 41 mold from a start up company that went out of business (whole not her story on that) I seen the mold at the factory and Joe explained to me how Pepe designed the insert for the step. The mold is a straight bottom so you can have it either way. Joe gave me a nice tour of the factory that day explaining the lay up process and all and I would like to say he was one of the nicest guys that I have met in the boat business RIP Joe.
