Since this is now the VHS thread............

One Christmas, Dad had all his old home movies from his 'super 8' projector recorded onto VHS and gave all us kids a copy. A lot of the footage was at the beach, water skiing and boating. Great old silent b&w memories from the 60's.

2010, I don't own a VHS player anymore but now own a Sea Ray with 2 of those tv/video combos onboard. Dad passes away so I decide to re-live the memories, staying onboard with a nice bottle. Damn U.S. video player won't play the Aussie type VHS tapes.

2017, I've still got the old tapes and still can't find anyone here that can play them and record to DVD or a hard drive. Always keep my eyes open, I'm sure I'll find someone one day who can help......

What's with all this VCR crap , I would say 9 out of 10 gofast Boats built today came from the same molds the pantera did at one time or another , Even thow Pantera needed to go out like they did , the boats are the same design that most all other's are using with upgraded composites and steps , about ten years ago most every CC and go fast had steps put in to keep up with fountains ect,
I owned a 2005 28 pantera even thow i didn't like the buying experience the boat ran great in 4 to 5 footers compared to a 32 foot boat I test drove a few years later and didn't buy it " after flying over a 1000 miles , it was so light "

My first vcr was a 1984 jc penny top loader wired remote that I paid $400.00 for and for some reason I still have it.

It took me about 13 seconds to figure out how it all worked but I had a head start cause it was just a giant version of my Teac tape deck back then. Was up at the crack of dawn on summer vacation From the moment they left the house in the morning to the minute they got home I wore those tapes out. I will never forget Vista Valley PTA that's for sure. Lol

Maybe you could use OZ for a return address, if not, I am sure I could forward them, my shipping dept does a lot of international orders. Dvd's dont weigh much.

As far as Pantera goes, there were several threads about shady business practices that disappeared. Check this one out Pantera judgement

I like the 36 Pantera. Would be cool to see someone resurrect these molds. To repeat a question further up in the thread, what happened to the 41' mold? Did that model ever get perfected?
