Sad for Pantera but it's no surprise. Hopefully the molds will be snapped up and the boats will be resurrected. RR |
I doubt they will even bring 90 grand for all 3 together. If by luck they do or more than that, I will be the first to say Very sorry and I was totally wrong COMPLETELY WRONG.
Is this an Absolute action and without marks climbing the bid numbers that many auctions have in place to get higher valued bids ? |

What a sad way for what were historic and well built boats to end, sitting and rotting. But I guess that’s how it goes when you run a shady business, sooner or later it’ll catch up.

$600K lol, $20k if they were in good condition.

Sad day? They were essentially thieves at the end of it. Probably didn't assemble a boat in the last 5-7 years and played games with creditors/lawsuits for years. Those molds are worthless as they are old, they certainly were not maintained and they are for a product that nobody is buying! Imagine you could buy a machine that builds the top of the line VCRs, what would you pay for that? Smart people would pay nothing because nobody is going to buy even a top of the line VCR anymore!
Race history- yep boats were great I/O performance boats- dead market Company reputation- not worth much and you probably can't use the Pantera name even if you buy the molds. The longshot- someone buys the molds and makes an updated OB version of the boats (designed to handle the 4 strokes of today). |
