28 Pantera
 

Looking For around a 28 footer with twin i/o and pantera is on my list does any one know of one for sale under 30k or am I nuts? :confused: :confused:

Jo @ Pantera Boats has a clean used 1998 28 w/ twin 502's. I just went out in the boat and I assure you it's pretty sweet. There is also a nice one for sale in St. Petersburg, FL. Call Jo @ Pantera (305-948-5600) and let him give you the info.

If your looking for something used, ask any other Pantera owner and they will tell you that Nunez family at Pantera will take good care of you. They really stand behind the boats they build.

The new Pantera I'm having Jo build for me will be the 4th boat I've owned. I know of no other manufacturer that offers the customer support and stands behind their product the way Pantera does!!!

I doubt you'll find anything for under 30k.

There was a a 28 at Raymonds Boats at LOTO with a single HP465 for around 43k over the summer.

Stay away from the "water heater". It's listed with TNT. There is a thread about it on here.

I've thought that "Blueballs" might be for sale soon.
Might be near that price range.

Hey Griff,

Jerry Memboli just bought this boat and will be racing it in P5 next year.It is powered with HP 450 Mercruiser package.I think Jerry is building a new big block for it with approx. 550-600 HP.

The Blue Balls 28 might be a good boat to look at if it is for sale.I think it would be in your price range or near it.

This boat we built originally for the Detroit , Michigan boat show.It was sold there at the show to a customer that lived in St. Clair shores, Michigan.

It was solid white with all white deck hardware,and upholstery.We sold it as a Hull and Deck only with interior and my customer rigged and completed the boat himself.

It was powered with twin small blocks ( 400 HP ) with Alpha SS drives.The motors had aluminum heads on it with higher compression.I do not know what is in it now.Maybe the same motors are in it?

It would run back then in the mid 70s for speed.I ran the boat in 1992-1993 and it ran really nice out in the ocean.

It is worth looking into and a very good price.
