How to get bow rail off.
I would like to remove the bow rail from my 24. I would like a cleaner look on the bow. does anyone know how they were stuck on there? Are there fasteners coming up from the underneath side of the deck? If so, I guess I would have to drop the headliner in the cabin to get to them Thsnks for any input. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...1ee848feb.jpeg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...c4068a391.jpeg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...0ceda405b.jpeg |
Dude! You have a classic never to be replicated. Leave it be!

Lol. Let’s just say hypothetically I wanted to take the bow rail off, how would a guy go about it. (Asking for a friend) |
Im sure it is underneath the trim inside... they are all usually simply holding with a nit screwed on the bolt sticking out the rubrail... no other way i guess! |
Keeping it now?
I think it would look very sleek with it removed! |
I haven’t had many bites on it so just planning out future endeavors with the ole girl. |
Altering a classic Pantera does not enhance the chance of a sale IMHO. LOL I used that lifeline a lot to hang fenders off or keep a grip while getting to the bow cleat. I do think Pantera should have terminated the rail at the fairing rather than the deck so I do understand the aesthetic issue.

The rail is bolted on. You would have to cut the headliner around the bolts that mount the rail on. the F1 boat didnt have a head liner. So it was nice and easy to remove. Once you remove it. You will have holes in your deck too
