28 with Black hawks

Would Black hawks work on a 28?

My 28 with extension box needs a drive spacer to prevent blowing out and easier to plane off

I would think they'd act similar to surface drives and youd loose some of the props ability to carry the bow.
Never thought of this until hearing it from a friend that had, I believe a 27' Pachanga w/surface drives. I think it was a bit faster than w/Bravos but the hull ran more wet.

And yeah if you had raised X dimensions, youd probably struggle to come on plane.

Blackhawk drives work best on a hull that naturally carries the bow or has a built in rocker at the transom.

Isn't that a Pantera hull. Always thought they were built to try to carry the bow?

According to Jo the 28 does have some rocker built into it .
