powering a 28??
I'm close to pulling the trigger on a 28 (guess I should speak with Tim too).
If I buy used I will likely go with single, bravo (one day upgrade to xz or xr) with 650ish ponies (I'm partial to the 454 mag efi with Whipple for bang for the buck). But I may just go new- if I do that I'm going Pulse and would have to choose between the same type single power or twin 350/315's either choice with pulse. The 350's may get whipples down the road as funds allowed. I boat inland lakes and rarely see 2' chop, occasional trips to grand will get me a little more slop and I may go to LOTO once a year (Got by with my 25' Daytona so I know what I'm in for) I really don't need the hole reliability thing and take care of my stuff so risk is minimal. I suspect the 650 single will have me kissing 80's in favorable conditions twin small blocks 65 ish?? Any thoughts? |
Someone's holding out on me.
Did you sell the Daytona Kenny? Buck |
Getting close....
Ski boat is going too- going to have one boat for everything:)

I would say you are about right on the speed in fresh water.

Cat I think your making a VERY good choice IMO. I've had my eye on Pantera for awhile. Not to mention, there's A LOT of them on our lake. ;)
Just be sure I get a ride/drive in it. Buck |

All interested parties, just show me the $$$$$$.
Everything is always for sale. |
Except mine!
You know, I've thought about it. But then I consider how many more $$$$ would have to be spent to equal or exceed the performance of this one. |

Good luck on your Pantera search! |
