I know you're trying to protect the gel, but the plastic is a bit much...:D

Without the plastic the paper would get all wet ultimately weighing the boat down thus much slower top end #'s. Some things are just give & take. The plastic & paper may not look good but they also will protect my paint job so that it will be perfect when I decide to sell it. What were you thinking:eureka:
