Hi everyone, i bought an older pantera about a month or so and i was trying to get pictures before i post in here, i got this boat in Miami so some of you might know it or seen it, i have to tell you that joining oso and seeing all of the pantera owners love their boats makes me feel like i got the rigth boat. Btw my name is Carlos and i live in Central Florida, about 45 minutes north of Orlando, so fresh water for this pantera. Here are some pictures.

Welcome Carlos,
I remember that boat. I've seen it up close and it looked in very good shape when I saw it. You made the right choice, congrats and enjoy the summer.

Great boat Carlos!

CHAOS REIGNS 03-29-2004 07:52 AM

nice boat!

would it be too rude to ask how much you paid for it?

migara422 03-29-2004 12:56 PM

I dont know if i got a good deal on a boat this old, and it also has full hydrolic steering.
I paid $15000. Left my house a 7 am drove to miami by myself to see it, took it to the bay love the way it handle in the rough and that was enough for me, and i was back home at midnight after a 6 hour trip back with the boat hitched to my tahoe.

How old is it???

I would say you got a free Hull, If they are in good shape, The engine, drive and Hydraulic steering, are worth Close to $15,000, not to mention the trailer, and interior!!!! Good deal.

I looked at a 26' Martini yesterday, and well, lets say the guy has been trying to get $9900 for the last year or so, I finally ran into the boat at a local storage yard while checking out another boat for a friend, and I think he will still have it in another year. The trailer wasnt even set up right, but he drove it on anyway, right onto the aluminum crossmember!!!! OUCH!!!

1 more,

CHAOS REIGNS 03-29-2004 02:21 PM

i'd say that is a fair price -- i was just curious really as to what mine was worth - i've got a 79 all redone -- not quite ready to sell

but i can see with the new GF and her kids - -a 28 would be nice to move up to

now if i could only get 65k for my 79 24' !!!! lol

migara422 03-29-2004 03:41 PM

I know what you mean, i came from driving jet boats, 2 actually, i had a 19 youngblood with a 468 banks twin turbo with intercooler, i wish i had this in this boat and i picklefork with a mild 454, wich i sunk because of a $20 hat, this is big for me compare to what i had but my wife wants something bigger so im thinking next year getting a 28.

CBlakeNS 04-13-2004 01:20 PM
