SET-UP HELP ON MY 28' WITH OBs'
 

Does anyone out there have a 28' Pantera with outboards. If so I would love to talk to you about set-up and props. My boat is a 1980 with twin 225 yamahas, 15" of set back, and michigan wheel props. I am currently running about 60 mph. I think I should be able to run 65 mph set-up right.

And has anyone ever heard of shimming your props back to pick up speed.

Call the factory, they are extremely customer friendly. Nobody would know better than the Nunez family Probably save a bunch time & money

Your right, they are great about talking to you. I spoke to Joe earlyer and he gave me plenty of good info. Then he recomended posting a thread. Ive worked with my setup quite a bit but seem to be up against a wall. I think I need props with more bow lift.

Any input at all would be great, especially if any of you guys have ever ran twin outboards.
