People are starting to talk on here that it takes longer to build these boats and that's what makes them better.
These guys could build these boats in 3 to 6 months too.
They aren't taking 2 years because it's custom. They are taking two years because they are waiting for the next victim to show up.

I spent plenty of time in boat shops. I've seen boats go from resin to running in a month. This, of course, is predicated upon the fact that you have people actually working 40 hours a week on a build and you have the resources to purchase materials and parts. It's isn't exactly rocket surgery.

I think that is one of the main problems, they don't seem to have a crew building boats. If they were able to streamline the business, get more orders and increase pricing to appropriate numbers, then I think they would be turning boats over quicker, etc.
Some people think they are screwing people over on purpose, while others just think it is the unfortunate way they basically have their business running. I don't argue that they have obviously had/have legal probs, but I think it comes more from them doing most of the work themselves, which in turn increases the build time. Longer build time and less boats being built also results in lower income. Catch 22 for them and their customers. The funny thing is, I thought that they seemed to be doing better and seemed to be building more boats.
