That mold became the 24 Scorpion in the 80`s the owner of Scorpion power boats was Julio De Varona who was an offshore racer better known of breaking the Miami to New York race In his 32 Scorpion with outboards.
He also raced with Willie Diaz in the world famous 37 Cig called El Boss.
Franks Marine raced the 24 Scorpion (Carrera) to many victories and championships in A-class. I will ask Julio when I see him if he knows the
where abouts of the mold.

My friend in Eastlake, owns the old Leisure Rocket. He bought in in 1993 and sold it to a guy how put it on the rocks in 1998. H bought the boat back from the insurance company and has not touched it since.. no major hiull damage. Could be fixed.

Any pictures of the leisure Rocket? I haven't seen that boat since shortly after the picture above was taken. I would be great to see how it's changed if at all.
