Pepe, JO, Linda and Barb you all don't need to prove anything to anybody here or anywhere else, all they are is a bunch of dreamers wanting to own the best made custom boat of its kind. You have been in buisness doing this for over thirty years and this is just the first half of what is left in Pantera. Even though it has been a struggle here in there some how you have found a way to come out in front of any encounter good or bad and your doors will always remain open because of your love in making the best of the best. Their is no substitution for workmanship in a custom boat, and yes there has and will always be gremlin or bug in a boat, but you will always fix it because you don't like half azz work. It`s funny today we were out testing in the 38 Cig that I will be racing in the worlds in Key West and I was wearing my Pantera shirt at Spinnikers marina where their is allot of performance boats and one guy owning a 42 Fountain came and told me that if I had a Pantera and I replied yes I have a 28 race boat called Miami Boys, he replied to me saying yes I know you and your boat you were racing my friend and I two month ago out South Beach 4 footers in his 33 Powerplay and you kept up with us with no problem. He told me that if Pepe made a 42 he wouldn't hesitate to order the first one. END OF STORY PANTERA WILL BE MAKING BOATS FOR OUR GRAND KIDS ENOUGH SAID. :drink: |
Re: turboed's 2005 24 pantera
i don't doubt they are bad azz boats,i jumped in to a new one and have yet to even ride or drive one,i like the lines and it sure has proven itself in the racing circuit, but i just want to go boating and if i can do it before the end of the year it would be nice,i gave it all i got to get the dream and it would be nice to see the dream become a reality

I'm glad you like your Pantera. I wish I had as much enthusiasm about my old ride as you do yours. There's nothing like having a boat that meets or exceeds all your needs. Have fun with your ride... |
Re: turboed's 2005 24 pantera
Indy- if you feel that you would not like to own a Pantera why are you continueing to hang on our forums??? Find you place and go get it !! This no boat guy got to go .. Some jack off shows up spouting half cocked thruths. I dont need it ..I know at the present time PANTERA has done everything in their power to make as many people happy as possible. Im a small buisness I WOULD HAVE NOT GIVEN MICHAEL Landis money for a motor after thinking long and hard about the facts . However I would not have started the motor I would have let the motor guy handel the fireing and tuneing of the motor. I hope Pantera learned from this one. I beleive Pantera is giveing it all they have and happy for them..

Re: turboed's 2005 24 pantera
Turboed,
Pantera will get you complete, I have watched Dom and Ron get there's and I think both guys will tell you that what they ended up with exceed's what they expected. I know that I was able to spend the end of the year on Dom's as he left it at my house and no v-bottom on Lake George could keep up. I too have been waiting, they have showed steady progress on mine and I will be going down in a few weeks, I'll try to give you an update then. Keep the faith. SB |
Re: turboed's 2005 24 pantera
Well said guys,
I was climbing all over a 22 year old, raced(not sure how heavily) 24 yesterday, and not a sign of rot to be found, these boats are freakin' amazing!!! If we can get the motor running on it tomorrow, and compression check comes back OK, I'm buying!!!! Enough Said!!! |

Re: turboed's 2005 24 pantera
hey sonny, thank you and im glad to hear that, pantera is keeping me updated and now feel a bit more positive and hopefully mine gets finished quicker due to way less custom options, just 2 ,black hull and engine upgrade, your boat and domz along with others are loaded with goodies and look very trick so im sure they are time consumers due to the detail, take care.

Re: turboed's 2005 24 pantera
Rchevelle, if you do get over here to the west coast, let me know, I live right here in sunny southern California. I have yet to take mine in the ocean, and maybe by the time you get here I'll have all the bugs worked out of mine, and I'll know how to drive it in the rough water. Maybe we could go for a run. If not I would love more than anything to go for a ride in one with someone who know's how to handle them in the rough. Not to mention It really revs up my wife when she gets to haul azz in a badazz boat. But watch out cause her top is known to come off for those boob cruises.

You should have hooked up with us on the Santa Barbara lunch run! Actually, the water was so flat that day it may not have been a good example of typical ocean running! There are a bunch of us that run pretty regularly so come on out. Tank has a 24 Baja Outlaw that he runs out there all the time and he can show you what can be done with a 24. |
Re: turboed's 2005 24 pantera
Who's running to Santa Barbara? I run out of Channel Islands Harbor all the time. I live there. Have a 22 Scarab. Ive only taken it to Anacapa and Ventura. My first boat and Ive only had it in the ocean. I try to get out about every other weekend. Id love to do some trips with other boaters in the area. Send me a message. Just went to Anacapa Island on the 11th. It was awesome.

Re: turboed's 2005 24 pantera
Airshares, you should hook up w/ riverrat.
Maybe, if you're lucky, you could get a ride in a Pantera to see what its like. |
